FareShare Merseyside

£3,000 towards the Merseyside Food Access Project.

FareShare Merseyside works to alleviate poverty and food waste. The Merseyside Food Access project supports the health and well-being over 5,700 people every day across the county who experience poverty or vulnerable housing. FareShare Merseyside redistributes surplus food that the food industry would otherwise waste or destroy to more than 100 homeless shelters, youth centres and elderly lunch clubs.

The £3,000 grant from PH Holt Foundation is helping FareShare provide food for 12,000 meals for vulnerable people across Merseyside.
