Not all applications meeting criteria receive funding - this is simply due to the volume of requests and for this reason many worthy projects do not receive grants.

Our grant cycle comprises four key periods in the year.

How to apply

1. We recommend that applicants first review the Foundation’s funding guidelines before applying for a grant to ensure that your organisation and activities are eligible. You can download a copy of our policy and guidelines here.

2. We strongly advise applicants to read the application form questions and prepare answers in advance of applying. You can download our application guidance about completing the form here.

3. Should you wish to speak to the Foundation in advance, call any Wednesday to Friday on 0151 273 2663 or email [email protected].

4. First find out if you are eligible to apply by completing our short quiz (button below). If eligible, you will be provided with a link to our online grant application form.
