PH Holt £250,000 Resilience Fund now open
PH Holt Foundation has opened a new £250,000 Resilience Fund which aims to address the negative impact of the Covid-19 pandemic upon charities already supporting vulnerable or disadvantaged communities in Merseyside.
This is a one-off grant fund available to eligible organisations with a track record of delivering successful and effective programmes, and who can demonstrate how our funding will make a difference to their work.
Charities should already be working with people in one of the following priority areas :
Children and young people
Mental health support
Victims of domestic abuse
The main purpose of the Fund is to support small and medium sized charities who currently may be struggling between funding periods, or who are experiencing difficulties accessing resources because of the pandemic, and where a grant from the Foundation would make a significant difference.
The Fund can also assist established charities who are considering the challenges ahead and are looking to respond by adapting to a different way of doing things. In general, the Foundation expects the bulk of support to cover an organisation’s core expenditure, including salaries and day to day running costs rather than time limited new programmes. This is not an emergency grant programme.
New and previous applicants can apply for grants starting at £5,000 up to around £10,000. Grant requests above £10,000 up to a maximum of £20,000 are only considered in exceptional cases and will depend upon the size of the charity and the specific funding need. In this instance, it is essential to call the Foundation before submission.
Applications can be made at any time with decisions expected within 4-6 weeks from submission.
