£500 supporting Merseyside children to improve their maths skills
Mathematical Education on Merseyside brings together staff from the three universities in Liverpool with local school teachers to devise, enable and promote mathematical activities throughout the region. The charity runs three schools-related events annually. These comprise Challenge Events and a series of Masterclasses on 5 Saturdays in the Autumn Term that reach 70 pupils. Holt Education Trust is providing funding to help 2,000 children enter Challenge Events each year.
