Last year, we awarded grants worth £866,000 to local charities on Merseyside, including from the Foundation’s Resilience Fund.

The increased demand for services continues to pose unprecedented challenges for many local charities. The Foundation is devoted to assisting small and medium-sized Merseyside charities in navigating the difficult times ahead, so that they can continue to provide critical community services.
If your charity has a project or activity needing financial support, you can apply at any time, but our quarterly grant rounds close on the 1st of April, July, October, and January. You can download an application here.

What we fund

The PH Holt Foundation supports a wide range of projects to help create a better future for the people of Merseyside.

We’re especially interested in assisting organisations that work at the core of their communities, are aware of the challenges they confront, and are optimistic about bringing about change.

You can apply

Applications by email are accepted at any time, but we make award choices four times a year: in early April, July, October, and January.

Give us a call for an informal discussion if you’re a small or medium-sized registered charity, or download our application criteria.
