Each year, we award grants worth up to £600,000 to local charities on Merseyside.

The increased demand for services continues to pose unprecedented challenges for many local charities. The Foundation is devoted to assisting small and medium-sized Merseyside charities in navigating the difficult times ahead, so that they can continue to provide critical community services.
If your charity has a project or activity needing financial support, you can apply at any time, but our quarterly grant rounds close on the 1st of April, July, October, and January.

What we fund

The PH Holt Foundation supports a wide range of projects to help create a better future for the people of Merseyside.

We are especially interested in supporting organisations that are actively engaged in their communities, are conscious of the challenges faced, and seek to bring about positive change.

You can apply

Applications are accepted at any time, but we make award choices four times a year: in early April, July, October, and January.

Give us a call for an informal discussion if you’re a small or medium-sized registered charity, or download our grant policy and guidelines.
